AMERICORPS, SERVE LOUISIANA: source for matching support and professional development of Serve Louisiana volunteers in kitchen and garden at multiple schools

 

BROAD COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS/ REFRESH PROJECT: a collaborative of youth, family, and community serving organizations that works to improve health and wellness in the Lafitte Corridor and surrounding neighborhoods, with a focus on anti-racism and fairness

 

EDIBLE SCHOOLYARD PROJECT: Alice Waters’ original edible education program in Berkeley, CA, that hosts quarterly calls for other edible schoolyard programs, and offers annual summer training for garden and culinary teachers

 

LOCAL UNIVERSITIES: Loyola, Tulane, Dillard, Xavier Universities & Delgado Community College promote service learning and internship opportunities at ESYNOLA for college students, who support our work from volunteering in garden and culinary classes to development and fundraising support

 

LOUISIANA FARM TO SCHOOL ALLIANCE: network of local and regional partners who share best practices and strategies on farm-to-school activities and policy work

 

NATIONAL FARM TO SCHOOL NETWORK: resource for professional development, technical assistance, and information on garden-based nutrition education, increased school food standards, and more local produce in cafeterias

 

SAFE SCHOOLS NOLA: a National Institute of Justice funded program by Tulane University School Psychology Department working with our school leaders and teachers to implement trauma-informed practices in Pre-K-8 classrooms
