Each year, more than 500 volunteers and interns give over 5,000 hours to Edible Schoolyard New Orleans! Our volunteers are parents, chefs, farmers, college students, neighbors, and community members. Volunteers make our program strong. They keep our gardens looking good. They help out in classes and at special events. They gather support for our program through help with fundraising. Most importantly, volunteers help students to build stable and meaningful bonds with a diverse group of adults.
