Volunteer at the Edible Schoolyard NOLA
The Edible Schoolyard is looking for enthusiastic, committed, responsible volunteers who love kids and have a strong interest in working in a K-8 school, assisting in outdoor education and cooking classes, community organizing, social work, food justice, counseling, or child and family nutrition. Volunteers are integral to the success of our program, enriching and enlivening our daily work while demonstrating to students the caring and commitment of the larger community. Volunteers also find their time at The Edible Schoolyard to be deeply rewarding. Please check the volunteer opportunities listed below and contact volunteer@esynola.org with any questions.
Volunteer Coordinator: Sara Hoffman volunteer@esynola.org
Special Events and Group Coordinator: Kelly Regan kelly@esynola.org
Volunteer Orientation: September 16th, 2010
All volunteers must attend a New Orleans Outreach orientation. On September 16th, we are holding a joint orientation so you can get all your paper work done in one evening. After that, all interested volunteers need to attend one of the monthly New Orleans Outreach orientations and then email volunteer@esynola.org to set-up a program orientation.
